Ecology addresses the factors that affect the distribution and abundance of living things: interactions among organisms and their environments. Evolution is the single unifying concept in all of biology. Together, ecology and evolutionary biology (EEB) forms one of the major divisions in the broader field of biology. This course will introduce foundational facts and principles in EEB, and it will also help you develop communication skills, quantitative skills, and curiosity that you will need for a college major in biology and for biology-related careers.
