AVIA 481: Safety Management, Spring 2022

Introduces students to Safety Management Systems (SMS) as defined in 14 CFR Part 5, to include, operator-specific risk analysis, risk mitigation and risk assurance strategies, best practices and an overview of FAA-sponsored voluntary reporting systems associated with an SMS. Prerequisites: FAA Commercial Pilot Certificate - Airplane Single Engine Land and Multiengine Land and Avia 281.
