AVIA106 Airspace and Air Traffic Control introduces the US National Airspace System, including standard and special use airspace, navigational aids and air traffic communication. In addition, basic air traffic procedures and regulations including control tower/non-control tower operations and radar/non-radar separation and introduced.
This is a second eight-week class which meets every Thursday from 1:30-3:10pm starting Thursday, March 13, 2025 until the end of the semester. Plan to spend 4 hours of additional study per week.
There is no textbook required for this course.
