Designed to help students improve writing and critical thinking skills necessary for college success. Students analyze, critique and respond to challenging texts in a variety of modes, including narrative, argument and research essays. Students are placed in this course with an ACT English score of 18+, or SAT Writing of 480+ or an Accuplacer NextGen Writing score of 255+. A Skills general education course.
